Garden City, Idaho

Remodels and tenant improvements in Garden City.

Garden City is a tighter mix of houses, river-adjacent lots, and commercial frontage. The work here is often a remodel of an existing building, not a new house on an empty subdivision lot.

Properties between the Boise River and Chinden, and along corridors such as 36th Street, tend to be existing buildings on compact sites. Residential remodels have to deal with older construction and small lots. Commercial inquiries are more common here than in Eagle or Star, usually as a tenant improvement rather than a new building.

Homes are still our focus, and additions and major remodels are still the core of what we do. Garden City is just one of the places where we'll also look at a commercial tenant improvement, through the same project form.

Questions

Do you remodel homes in Garden City?
Yes. Major remodels and additions are our main work here, including older houses on smaller lots.
Do you take commercial projects here?
Select tenant improvements, yes. We look at each one individually. Homes are still our main work.
Is a Garden City permit the same as a Boise permit?
No. Garden City has its own building department. A Boise process does not transfer.
