Kuna, Idaho
Additions and shops for Kuna homes.
Kuna’s growth has been houses first, and the construction that follows is often an addition, a suite, or a shop the original plan did not include.
Kuna combines an older downtown with subdivisions that have filled in to the south and west, including areas around Indian Creek. Many owners are working with a production house that needs more space, not a custom home starting from a bare lot. Some “Kuna” addresses are inside city limits and some are still Ada County. That split changes who reviews the permit.
Here, as everywhere else in the valley, we build additions, remodels, and detached buildings, planned before construction starts.
Neighborhoods
Downtown Kuna
Older lots and houses where a remodel or addition meets an existing structure.
Indian Creek
A planned community where exterior changes and detached buildings follow association standards.
South and west subdivisions
Newer family housing where owners add a suite, a room, or a shop after moving in.
Permitting
- Confirm whether the property is inside Kuna city limits or in unincorporated Ada County. The permitting agency follows that line.
- Inside the city, building permits go through the City of Kuna. County parcels do not.
- Subdivision design guidelines, where they exist, are a separate approval and should be checked before exterior drawings are finished.

Questions
- Do you take Kuna additions?
- Yes. We build room additions, suite additions, and major remodels on existing Kuna homes.
- City or county — how do I know?
- The parcel decides it, not the mailing city. Preconstruction includes confirming whether Kuna or Ada County has jurisdiction.
